To install the device by using front mounting brackets and slide rails:

1. Wear the ESD-preventive wrist strap and verify that the rack is well grounded and sturdy enough.

2. Use the screws packed with the front mounting brackets to attach the front mounting brackets to the

device, as shown in Figure 8.

4. Holding both sides of the device, push the device to the rack along the slide rails, as shown

in Figure 15. Mak

e sure the chassis bottom makes close contact with the slide rails.

5. Attach the front mounting brackets on the device to the front rack posts with M6 screws and cage

nuts.
