4. Install a new MPU.

If no new MPU is to be installed, install a filler panel.

Replacing an interface module

IMPORTANT:

Interface modules are not hot-swappable. Before you remove Interface modules, power off the firewall.

To replace an interface module:

1. Face the front panel of the firewall.

2. Loosen the captive screws on the interface module with a Phillips screwdriver until all pressure is

released.

3. Pull the two ejector levers at both ends of the interface module outward to release the interface

module, and then gently pull the interface module out along the slide rails.

Put the removed interface module in an antistatic bag.
